Nothing gets people so worked up, as football (if u r reading this in the USA..soccer) In Holland you can roughly separate the country in three pieces which are than covered by three teams (what a surprise); first Ajax; without any doubt the best team in the Netherlands since 100 years, Feyenoord, if you like to work in the docks you probably support them, and thirdly PSV, a club that will turn off the lights in all stadions if they cannot win! Better be warned :)
Number one and number two are clubs that have a rich history and a strong following and have produced excellent results in Holland and outside, although Ajax is of course a brand of its own.
When I was visiting the desert like country of Namibia, I mentioned once Ajax and the majority of people were be able to come up with at least 5 players!
PSV on the other hand is lacking the rich history and is basically a sport club funded by Philips (hence de P) that plays boring football and will never manage mystical status as Ajax does.
So what is the point than? Well, currently they are without a trainer/coach after Koeman left them for a more serious club... The candidates list is long and of quality for the job but ....shock horror for PSV....The candidates DONT want to become the new coach of PSV!
I have therefore decided to offer myself for this job and solve this huge (...) problem.
My first act will be to sell all there good defenders to Ajax for 5 euro each and a bag of Crocky crisps. My second act will be a change of strategy; PSV wants to get records! Becoming the team with the most goals against them, most red cards, to name but a few.
The third act will be that I will demand a 2 million euro pay off when being sacked (which will obviously wont take too long)
I reckon the Dutch Championship can be saved and let nature take its course... Ajax will be Kampioen !
