October is kind of an important month if you like to walk onto a big red coloured square while pushing your legs high up in the air (and waive them like you just dont care...)
Almost 90 years ago a tiny country had enough of their leader and decided to replace them by entering into a small argument called revolution...
Since than things have changed and keep changing but what stays is the power of advertising or in revolutionary terms... propaganda.
Many of those were created by artist and some are actually quiet nice to look at. Check out Ebay cos plenty are being sold there. When I was in Vietnam, a communist country that still strive on the red colour and yellow star decoration (even when its not christmas) I saw some that are their to promote the virtues of Parenting, Education and Hard work. Many of them spread over town and the size of a small mini bus... Are they effective? Did they stimulate me to start a family while working hard and studying? I am afraid to say...no, but I appreciate the images.
So, please, strap on your boots, start marching in your town square and Smile!
