We have a Winner ?!

I am sure it happened to you too, you played the lotto when there was a huge prize at stake and started to think about were you would spend the money. 'a new house, a flash car, trip around the world ect and of course the more political correct version 'donating the money, curing a disease or hunger'

But in the end the outcome is always the same.... you didnt win, although the excitement of maybe winning is part of it! But what will be the impact if you would really win?
Well last weekend there was about 35 million pounds at stake and everybody participated cos apparantly this is the only way to win (stop talking about winning, start participating !)
The prize was won in the UK but the winner was not known. Until a unemployed plumper came forward ! I thought excellent, somebody who deserves it :) Well, he had his ideas as well !
His whole family quit their jobs, planned holidays, went on a drinking binge and became soon celebrities and everybodies best friend :) Story over? Well, no! The next day, front page news, the plumper had made it all up and he didnt win it at all!!! Family willing to kill him and huge unpaid bills for holidays and Mr Plumper....no where to b found!

It is clear that this person has taken 'dreaming about winning the lotto' to a whole new level and added an dimension that will be hard to follow, and probably not advisable :)
The real winner by the way was a single mum, so not bad ! Although that was today...maybe there will be another tomorrow, cos deep down we are all winners!

Oh and by the way, if you wonder about my Lotto fantasy... well I will be pragmatic...If I would win it, I would count it ;) Better safe than sorry :)
