Virtual World

My blog is an example, but so is the use of Skype, MSN, email, internet, sms, Youtube ect ect all virtual options to stay in contact and be connected 24x7 ! Is this something we desire?? Well, apparantly yes, cos the wide variety of virtual options makes you want to scream!

I have to confess I am a gadget fan and interested in all that is new and virtual but it seems to come at a price...no privacy... and we accept it, real life stories, close and direct contact have become the standard, we have become addicted to it. It is fast, everywhere, direct and fun !
Would I recommend for everybody to use it ? Well, no, cos it has its negative sides eg I seem to need Viagra (well the emails are suggestion it) seem to need a Brazilian wife (thx Skype), ect
Funny at times but sometimes annoying too. So, were we better off before? Well honestly ...NON All those virtual tools have made our life more interesting, faster, more fun and business wise it is great too, but what will be the future?

Will Newspapers dissappear, will TV become traditional and only to be seen through a GSM phone or PC screen? Will virtual shops become more important than real ones?, will traditional radio be gone soon? will La Poste no longer exist in 10 years? Will we end up with everything being virtual and no tangible things anymore? Although Cyber sex will be safer ;)

All types of questions to which the answers will shape our future faster than we can imagine!
Be ready for it ! Cos you personal and business life is about to change and your kids are already far ahead!

So, have a think about the future, use what you feel is making your life easier and fun and stick to the things you love (non virtual) and be passionate about it!

Will La Poste exist in ten years? I think the answer is yes, if. Yes, if La Poste realizes paper mail is on the way out (as senders increasingly have the power to prevent it from reaching them, see www.EarthClassMail.com) and that La Poste's greatest scalable asset is its trusted brand, and sees that it is not a distribution company but a communications and especially advertising company.

Once mail gets online, the most competitive posts will realize they are a lot more like Google than they ever thought before. And yet on more desktops even than Google, like Microsoft.

What a combo! Don't expect all national posts to go away without a serious fight (even some winners will be posts, the alternative posts in Europe who are now competing almost fully with the former monopolies).
